Get started with Limble's new desktop experience

Learn what’s available today, and what’s coming as we build

Written by Christy Umberger

Limble’s desktop experience has been redesigned to be faster, more reliable, and easier to navigate, while keeping the workflows your team depends on. It enables stronger performance across sites and teams, and better supports ongoing product improvements.

The new Limble desktop

The new Limble desktop is live and improving. Core features are available today and additional capabilities from the legacy version will be added throughout 2026 and into 2027, shaped by feedback from our beta customers.

Provide feedback and report a problem: To provide feedback on your experience or report a problem, click the green help icon (bottom left) on any page.

Access legacy Limble

As you use new Limble, you can supplement use of the legacy desktop for functionality that’s not yet available:

  2. From the dropdown, click Go back to Limble legacy.

Navigating the upgraded Limble experience

A few page names and terms have changed from the legacy app. Here’s what to expect.

The word “site” now replaces “location” throughout the platform.

You’ll notice these new pages in your left side-bar:

  • Tasks: Access all of your tasks.

  • Assets: Access your asset list and individual asset cards.

  • Parts: Access your part list and individual part cards.

  • Vendors: Access your vendors.

Manage the settings for these pages in the new configuration center.

Customize your tasks table (instead of using a custom dashboard)

You can use the new tasks table to create the exact views you need, instead of relying on custom dashboards.

Enhanced sorting, filtering, and column management in the new desktop experience lets you customize the table to only view the tasks you want.

Filter your tasks table and save it as a bookmark

  1. Go to the Tasks page.

  2. Click Filters.

  3. You can now apply multiple values within the same filter and combine multiple filters at once.

    1. For example, choose Priority for your filter and select both High priority and Medium priority tasks.

    2. Then, choose the Assigned to filter and select your user or team name.

  4. Once you’ve set up the view as desired, you can save the URL as a browser bookmark to easily return to it again later.

Bookmarked URLs will preserve your filters across logins.

Customize the task table columns (not save-able as a bookmark)

You can manage your task table columns, so you’re only viewing the columns that matter most.

  1. Hover over any column header and click the three-dot icon to the right of the column name.

  2. Select Manage columns.

  3. Un-select any columns you don’t want.

  4. Then, click on column headers and drag-and-drop to reorder the table, as desired.

Column visibility settings are not yet persistent across logins.

Access settings in the configuration center

All of your site and account Limble settings now live in a new, combined Configuration center.

  1. In the top bar, click Operations > Configuration center to access these settings.

  2. Find individual settings within these sections:

    1. Workspace configuration: customize settings for parts, vendors, and assets

    2. Work and task management: customize settings for custom tags, and all things task-related

    3. Users and access control: manage your roles, users, and teams

  3. When you’re finished, in the top bar, click Configuration center > Operations to return to the Tasks, Assets, Parts, or Vendors pages.
