How to reset Limble passwords for you and your team

Written by Rachel Link

If you forgot your password, it's about to expire, or you’d like to change it, you can reset it.

Depending on your role, you can also reset or create a password for someone else on your team.

Reset your own password

Reset your forgotten password

  1. On the Limble login page, click Forgot password?

  2. Enter your username.

  3. Click the checkbox next to I am human.

  4. Click Reset password.

  5. You will receive an email with a randomly generated password.

  6. Use the password to log into Limble. Once in the app, you can update your password if desired.

Reset your expiring or expired password

If your organization requires you to update your password, you'll need to do so every 90 days.

You will receive an email reminder 7 days before your password expires, and again 24 hours before it expires.

If you do not update your password in time, you will be required to do so at your next login attempt.

  1. From the reminder email, click Update password.

  2. On the Limble login page, enter your current password and new password, making sure to follow the character count and character type requirements.

  3. Click Update password.

  4. You will be logged into Limble.

When you update your password, the 90-day countdown is recalculated from that date. If you change your password a month early, 90 days from that day, you’ll have to update it again.

  1. Go Configuration center > Users and access control > Users.

  2. Click the three-dot menu to the right of the user.

  3. Select Send new password.

  4. Click Send password to confirm your choice.

Create a new password for someone else

Only Super users can create a new password for other users. This can only be done from the desktop app.

  1. Go Configuration center > Users and access control > Users.

  2. Click the three-dot menu to the right of the user.

  3. Select Edit password.

  4. In the new drawer, enter and confirm the new password.

  5. Click Change password.

  6. Limble won’t email the user their new password, so be sure to share it with them directly.

If the user doesn't see an email from Limble, have them check their spam or junk folder and move the message to the inbox to avoid this in the future.
