Roles and permissions

In Limble, a role is a group of permissions that controls what a user can see and do. Roles control what users can see and do in Limble.

Roles are assigned by site, so you can decide on a user’s level of access based on the work they do at each site.

The same user can hold different roles at different sites.

Default roles

Limble provides three site-based default roles to assign a certain permission set to each of your users, according to their work:

  1. Technician

  2. Manager

  3. View only

Custom roles

Custom roles can be created to customize the permissions given to a set of users.

Custom roles let you create roles with permissions tailored to your users' specific access needs, separate from the default roles that come with your account.

Custom roles, like default roles, are assigned by site.
