Once you create a PM template, you can copy it, start a task from it, or delete it from the actions menu. You can also manage the schedules on a PM template: view upcoming instances, change a schedule's type, or turn a schedule on or off.
PM templates are managed on the Templates page > PMs tab.
Managing a PM template
Go to the Templates page > PMs tab.
At the far right of the template row, click the three-dot icon.
Choose an action:
Click Copy PM template to duplicate the template.
Click Start task from template to start an individual task instance from the template.
Click Delete PM template to remove the template.
More functionality is coming to Limble's new desktop for managing PM templates. For now, go back to Limble legacy to manage PM templates in bulk, manage PM relations, or set a default PM template.
Viewing a schedule's upcoming instances
From the PM templates page:
View the current schedule(s) for a PM template under the Schedule column. For a template with more than one schedule, click on 2 schedules to view all of the schedules.
Click a template's Next instance to open a side window and view all upcoming instances.
To see tasks already generated from the template, click View open PMs.
Changing a schedule type
Open a PM template and under Schedules, find the schedule you want to change.
Click the pencil icon on the schedule.
In the side window, select the appropriate tab: Time-based, Usage-based, or Threshold-based.
Update the fields and click Save.
To remove a schedule, click the delete icon on the schedule.
Turning a schedule on or off
Open a PM template and find the schedule you want to change.
Click the pencil icon on the schedule.
Toggle the PM schedule toggle on to generate tasks, or off to pause the schedule without deleting it.
Click Save.
